Tennis Australia Hit The Target

Come down to the new tennis/multipurpose court facility on December 3rd in Harden and see all that the new club has to offer.

From 4pm there will be activities for the young and old.

“It is so fantastic to have the opportunity through the Stronger Communities Grant to build new tennis courts in Harden and we are so thrilled to finally be unveiling them to the public,” said Club President, Bronwyn Ryan.

Come and see for yourself how fantastic the new cushioned rebound ace surface is. Try your luck at the ‘Hit the Target’ competition or take a serve at the radar gun and see how fast your serve is. Prizes awarded in different categories for the fastest serve.

Meet the coach, Col Maher, for some skills and drills to improve your tennis game. Ever heard of pickle tennis? Come down and Col will teach you.

Is basketball more your style? The hoops will be out at 4pm and Alison will be there to show some moves.

At 5pm there will also be some demonstration matches. Fancy a hit? Challenge someone to a game and take the court.

Bronwyn said she is excited to welcome special guest Steph Cooke, Member for Cootamundra, to address the official opening of the Club at 6pm.

The courts will then remain open until 10pm free of charge to the public for anyone wanting to come and try out the courts. See you there.
