The annual Bendigo Bank 2 Man Ambrose Tournament held in Harden has reached its 30 year milestone.

Each year Harden’s population experiences a bit of a numbers boost when 170 golfers from across the country converge on the town for the annual golf tournament.

Assistant Manager of the Harden Country Club, Ros Goodman said it was a popular event that was good for the town.

“It injects a substantial amount of money into the local economy,” Ms Goodman said.

“The competition starts on Friday, so people stay Friday and Saturday night before heading home Sunday.”

The weekend will swing into action with a 9-hole warm-up event on Friday from 12noon to 3pm.

Tee off times for Saturday and Sunday will be 7am to 8:40am and 11am to 12:40pm. Each team must pay $140 to enter the competition.

The field is limited to 200 people so bookings are essential. There are prizes to be won, including a car valued at $20,000 for the hole-in-one prize.

Phone 02 6386 2483 to enter.

Grab a buddy and join the fun at the Bendigo Bank 30th Australian 2 Man Ambrose this weekend from Friday, November 5 to Sunday, November 7.
