Coming Soon – “Sex Please We’re Sixty” by Michael & Susan Parker. This is the title of the next Young Theatre Company production. It is a comedy play of charming and funny explorations into the secret desires of men and women over 60 who are determined to find what they have lost – their libido.
The story is set in a B&B run by Mrs Stancliffe. A neighbour Bud “the stud” Davis thinks the lady guests come to see him – so tries his luck with each.
Another neighbour – an ex–chemist – has developed a new pill which should increase the libido in women “of a certain age” and wants it tested. Unfortunately, before the pill has been tested the women hear about it and decide to get their own back on Bud by swapping it with Bud’s Viagra pills. Bud takes the wrong pill and then the bawdy, rollicking romp begins with some hilarious and surprising results.
The show opens on Friday October 19th and runs for three performances only. Tickets are $20, bookings at M & M’s Music Studio.
Supper is provided by Community Chest for Cherry Queen entrant Clare Grantham.
