Semi-finals decided in the Club Singles Championships for 2019.

Harold Anderson won his semi-final match against James Maloney. The other semi-final was a great contest played on Thursday May 23rd, Damien Miller defeated Russell Boyd 31 shots to 27. The match was of a great standard. 27 shots all on the second last end with Damien drawing four shots on the last end to claim the win. The final between Harold Anderson and Damien Miller will be played on a date to be announced.

The Club Pairs competition continued on Saturday last, two matches played and one forfeit. Russell Boyd and Ged Hardman defeated Cliff Traynor and Colin Parker. The other match saw a close win to Tom Preston and Michael Webb who defeated Geoff Holt and Graeme Edgerton.

Results of the Patterson Bros sponsored Jackpot bowls, also played last Saturday. 20 players took part, winners with an 18 shot margin Mark Anderson and David Donges.

Thursday May 23rd, a great roll up of players, 36 in total. Some close matches resulted. Winners with a 19 shot margin Raz Porter and a visiting Harden bowler.

The two Bowl Triple Tournament will be held this Saturday and Sunday June 1st and 2nd. Bowlers from near and far will attend to compete for the prize purse of $1100. Play commences at 9.30am on Saturday and Sunday morning at 9am.

Saturday will also be available for Jackpot bowls for bowlers not involved in the tournament.

The BPL Cup will be played at the Young Bowling Club on Sunday June 23rd. Entries are now open. Players should note a maximum of 16 teams from all clubs can be accepted. Details are on the noticeboard at the Club.
