Eager for more success with BNB
Sam Haines owns BNB, Pops Hideaway in Murringo.
She describes it as a two bedroom country hall style, with open plan living surrounded with lovely gardens.
While she bought it during COVID restrictions and shutdowns were happening all over the world, she said business is surprisingly good. “It was purchased in early 2020 at the start of a worldwide pandemic. It was a hard and risky decision to run as a bed and breakfast, but the stars aligned and was quite a success,” Sam said.
Now coming into her first year anniversary of ownership, Sam and her daughter are excited for what’s to come.
“We love the variety of people that come and stay and love to hear about their stays,” she said.
She admitted running the BNB on the side can be demanding.
“Working full time and running a business has its challenges. When you throw in being a mum and outside hobbies there’s a lot in the mix. But we have a great support network that compromises my mum, sisters and very close friends.”
Pops Hideaway is listed on Airbnb. Sam encourages people to check it out and recommend it to family or friends visiting the Hilltops.
