Boorowa Emporium Beauty Treatment Room has been serving Boorowa and surrounding villages since 2004 with inexpensive beauty treatments of waxing, manicures/pedicures, lash/brow tinting, makeup, facials, spray tanning, Indian ear candling and remedial hot stone fusion massage.

Theresa began her training in Canberra in 1994 with cosmetology, following on with Swedish massage Diploma, Basic Makeup Certification, Makeup Certificate II, and in 2013, training with hot volcanic stones for remedial massaging. Originally from Sydney, Theresa relocated and opened her business in 2004.

“I have been using the same supplier for my facial products since my training days which are Australian made,” Theresa said.

“For waxing, I use the waxes that I feel give the best results.”

The old tradition of Indian ear candling is a natural therapy with gentle healing, it’s helpful for headaches/migraines, earaches, sinus troubles, is very soothing and relaxing. Hot volcanic stone massages effectively give you a deep tissue massage, it improves circulation, helps with mental health, eases muscle tension, and is very relaxing. Using these rocks to massage, you will have to try it to believe how good it is!

“Now I run my own business from home, raising two children and I really couldn’t ask for a better life!” Theresa said.
