Two Sugars Espresso Bar Cowra Owner Jodie Fliedner says customers will receive only the best 10% of coffee beans that enter Australia at her coffee bar.
The unique, rustic-style coffee bar- which has now been in Cowra for four months- uses a brand of coffee called ‘Clean Skin Coffee’, which is based in Brisbane, and uses the highest quality of imported coffee beans, which accounts for 10% of all foreign beans that enter Australia.
Mrs Fliedner set up the shop from scratch with husband and business partner Keiran Temple, and said they set up shop to fill a gap in Cowra’s coffee market.
“I got to know Clean Skin Coffee when I visited my brother in Brisbane, and they were located nearby, and I decided that I wanted to set up a shop that uses their coffee beans,” she said.
“I also felt Cowra needed something on the eastern side of town as well. Since opening up, we’ve been going leaps and bounds. It’s been amazing.”
“We decided to target the early morning trade as well. We open our doors at 5.30am on weekdays, and the tradies and farmers love it.”
Mrs Fliedner, who has 25 years of hospitality experience, said the café also had a focus on fresh food, which patrons can have as both dine in and takeaway.
Breakfast is served all day, and the lunch menu eveolves each week, with a range of fresh salads, sandwiches, wraps and rolls, as well as hot food.
