Tradies Day

Have you booked in yet at the Harden Country Club web or Facebook page? Or have you used the QRS Code on the posters around the Club?

It’s time to rock’n’roll groovers and get yourself in for a fun day where two local businessmen are giving back to the community they serve.

Brian Tredinnick of Hilltops Certifying Services and our own Club Captain Craig Filmer of DA Busters Development Assistance Services are hosting a 3 Person Ambrose Golf Day this Saturday.

This is the 3rd consecutive year Brian and Craig have supported a big day out with over $1,000 in prizes on the line.

You do not need to be a golfer, you just need to enjoy a day out with mates. No Club handicap is required and social golfers are welcome.

Prizes will be paid in Nett and Gross divisions, and even a Bradmans money-back award is there too. Events on nearest the pin, longest drive will be on and the Club is putting a food and drink voucher on for each player included in your rego. Do not miss out – go to www.hardencountryclub.com and check it out.

Craig Henman – December Medallist

On a quick turnaround from our November Medal, one Harry Sachs decided he would make it fair and let everyone else have a chance. He stayed in bed.

The field hunted out in glorious but breezy conditions in pursuit of the mega Club voucher, the Medallist’s Cap and the Guzzlers Mug.

Streeting the field and collecting the A Medal, The Black Cap and the Guzzlers Mug was Craig Henman. Craig was 3 shots clear of his nearest rival, broke 80 and scored 40 stableford points in the concurrent daily event. Awesome round and great day out, Craig!

Collecting our B Grade Medal and playing in the ultra hot group was Ashley Hall. Ashley has pounded out a 70 nett to collect his cap for his Grade. Best A Scratch on the day went to Kevin Hoppe with a 78 just rounding up Craig by 1 shot, whilst in B Grade it went to Tam Kennedy who likewise rounded up Ash by 1 shot with an 88.

Balls on the day went back to Ash Hall (37 points), Chris Whybrow (36 pts), Jeanette Elliott (34 pts), Kevin Hoppe (34 pts) and Tam Kennedy (34 points). These were rewarded with drink vouchers in lieu of balls and this proved quite popular amongst the thirsty leaders.

If you were not in the Club at presentation remember to claim yours when next in, a list is on the board.
