Family Fun Duck Day is a much loved yearly event for the whole family, with lots of entertainment with kids and family swimming races throughout the day. Don’t miss this brilliant day of fun!

See the area’s majestic fine wool merino and British Breed sheep, stud cattle, horse events, alpacas and championship dogs. In the pavilion, there are stunning craft displays, cooking, produce, horticulture, jams, jellies and pickles!
See what the talented artists and photographers have entered! And wonder at the quality of the fleeces of wool on display. There are many agricultural and commercial stalls, and side shows galore! Bring the whole family for the day! Great things to see and do and a true country experience.

The official opening of the tenth Annual Lambing Flat Sculpture, Wood and Big Art Exhibition is at 7pm on Wednesday, March 21. The exhibition runs until that Sunday afternoon so be sure you don’t miss out.

March 24 & 25 – Lambing Flat Chinese
Visit Young for the staging of the Lambing Flat Chinese Festival as the town marks its gold rush history and the important contribution of the Chinese in the development of Australia. The festival will feature a daytime and evening acrobatic Chinese lion and dragon dancing display, Chinese food stalls, martial art demonstration, farmers market stall and a performance.

This is an exciting new fundraiser where funds raised from the event will go to support those in the Young community with cancer through support, prevention, research and advocacy.
Stars of Young is a fundraising event where high-profile locals teamed up with professional dance partners or troupe to rehearse a routine that will be performed in front of guests and judges at a glitzy and glam gala ball evening! We hope you will join us for a night of fun, dancing, food, and entertainment!
