November 15 – Murrumburrah Writers Group
Murrumburrah Writers Group next meeting plus ‘Christmas Bash’ which has an imaginative writers’ twist is on Thursday November 15, at 6 pm at the Murrumburrah Court House, Corner Vernon and Albury Streets, Murrumburrah. The entry fee (which covers the electricity) is: $2 members, $3 non-members. Membership is $5 per year. Please bring a dish to share; then all you’ll need to do is a little writing and allow the wonder of the festive season to unfold. If you wish you can have festive photographs taken for $5 each. November 17 – Young & Region Farmers Markets
Young & Region Farmers Markets 9am until 12pm at Anderson Park near the former railway station (Young Visitor Information Centre). BBQ and coffee available. Buy fresh straight from the producers. Local fruit, vegetables, plants, wine, honey, goats milk products and baked goods all on sale. November 17 – Young Garden Club
Young Garden Club is not having a meeting in November. The Christmas outing is to Cafe de Jour on the 17th November 7pm. All members and guests welcome. Meetings resume in February 2019.

November 17 – Hilltops High Tea – A Cherry Queen Event

An afternoon of delicious High Tea while being entertained by the Hilltops Choir! All are welcome. Pick up your tickets at M&Ms Studio, Southern Cross Cinema or at the door! 2.30pm. Southern Cross Cinema. 96 Main Street, Young.

November 18 – The Cherry Chase: Chase the Colour
The Cherry Chase: Chase the Colour is a community event organised by the Youth Council and Young PCYC. The Cherry Chase has a five kilometre and 10 kilometre option and the Colour Run is 4.5 kilometres. This is going to be one bright, sweaty community event that you don’t want to miss. You can run, walk or volunteer or simply come along and spectate. They will have markets, a community barbecue and entertainment by local musicians. For more information: http://cherrychase.com.au/

You will find food, craft and products grown, made and prepared by local people. The Old Court House grounds in Marsden Street.

December 4 – Dementia Advisory Service
This is an opportunity for carers, family members and people living with dementia to pop in, meet your dementia advisor and receive support and information about dementia in a supported environment. Pop in between 2 – 3.30pm at the Hennessy Recreational Therapy Mercy Care Centre, Young.

December 5 – Young Garden Club Monthly Meeting
Held on the first Wednesday of each month at 7pm at the Catherine McAuley Centre, Southern Cross Village, Demondrille Street, Young

December 9 – Allied Grain System Two Person Ambrose
Allied Grain System Two Person Ambrose starting at 11am at the golf Club is the Shot Gun start. There is a barbecue throughout the whole day for everyone to enjoy.
