Whip-Cracking Good Time At The Young Show

The Crackup Sisters

The Crackup Sisters will be the main event at this year’s Young Annual Show.

S.T Ruth and her little sister Twiggs will be setting up their Homestead and Windmill and performing 3 different 20 minute shows. They will also run a whip-cracking workshop.

The sisters from Winton, outback Queensland, travel the country performing their brand of comedy which involves whip-cracking, acrobatics, slapstick, larrikinism and bringing to life the stories of country Australia.

As well as watching the crazy shenanigans, the audience will have the opportunity to meet with the girls and participate in the whip-cracking workshop.

The Homestead is an interactive set complete with an 8 metre high aerial windmill and exploding dunny.

Their first performance is at 12:15pm, followed by shows at 4:30pm, 6.20pm and 7:30pm.

Other highlights of the Show include The Tin Shed Rattlers, providing a top night of fair dinkum bush dancing and Murphy’s Puppets, a comedy puppet show for the kids.

The Tin Shed Rattlers will be performing from 3-9pm.

The Show will be action packed all day with the Showgirls, Horse Ring Events, Tractor Pull, Farmer’s Challenge, Main Pavilion and Side Show Alley among the features. The Fireworks Spectacular will fire up at 7:50pm.

The Show will be a cash only show.
