State Carnival at Tuncurry
Margo Parker, Margaret Gailey, Ann Larsen and Elsie Hines competed in the State Carnival at Tuncurry near Sydney. This important annual bowls feature started on Monday 27 May and ended on Friday 31. 1072 women bowlers had entered the Carnival and were divided into 20 sections.

Margo, Margaret, Ann and Elsie won 4 out of the 6 games played and came second in their section.

Young WBC Monthly Meeting
The June Monthly Meeting will still be held on 10 June even though it is part of the June long weekend. It was decided at the May meeting to hold it when it was due as there weren’t enough people away to warrant changing the date.

Regional Fours Playoff
Kate Cooper, Therese Ruhl, Margo Parker and Mary Bennett played in the Regional Fours Playoff at Harden on Tuesday and Wednesday 4 & 5 June. Their games were on Tuesday. Results next week.

2019 Minor Singles
Entries will open Tuesday 18 June for the 2019 Club Minor Singles Championships which will start on Tuesday July 16.

Thursday 13 June – Women’s Social Bowls, 1.30pm start.
