27th Annual Cherry Festival Photographic Exhibition Opens Soon

Young Camera Club’s 27th annual Cherry Festival Photographic Exhibition opens in under two weeks.
The exhibition will open on Tuesday the 2nd of December with a special official opening night.
The exhibition will take place upstairs in the Flamingo Room at the Young Services Club and the official opening night will begin at 7.30pm.
Entry to the opening night is $5 and includes refreshments.
The exhibition will then run from Wednesday the 3rd of December to Sunday the 7th of December.
It will open daily between 10am and 4pm except for Sunday the 7th, when the exhibition closes at 2pm.
Entry to the exhibition is $2 and visitors have the opportunity to choose their favourite photo by voting in the People’s Choice Award.
There are nearly 450 photos on display across 13 categories and includes the Champion Print, Junior Champion Print, Junior Encouragement Award and other awards.
This year, the Margaret Lackersteen Most Successful Local Entry Award is being introduced.
Young Camera Club’s next monthly meeting is on Wednesday, 10 December. The Club meets on the second Wednesday of the month, except for January.
