November 27 to January 29 – Hilltops Cherry Time Exhibition
The Young Society of Artists present Hilltops Cherry Time Exhibition “Fine Art and 3D” at Burrangong Gallery. The exhibition will be open seven days a week and there is no entry fee. Organisers invite everyone to call in and enjoy the variety of works on show.

December 17 – Christmas Concert at Young Library
Celebrate Christmas this week with a concert of Christmas carols and songs at Hilltops Library in Young. The concert will feature local performer Vicki Walsh. Library users and other members of the public are invited to join in the festivities, which start at 12.30pm. Vicki has been a regular performer at the Library’s lunchtime concerts and will present a medley of Christmas music. If health orders allow, she may invite the audience to sing along too. Bring a mask just in case.

December 18 – Boorowa Gun Club Christmas Shoot
Event 1 30T SB Continental off 19m Graded. Event 2 25T Walk-Up Graded.Event 3 Quail Drive Graded. BBQ lunch is included with Noms. Full Noms Open $50 L,J,V $40. Cash prizes. Raffles. Commencing at 11am.

December 18 – Boorowa Rotary Community Makers & Growers Market
The Boorowa Rotary Community Makers & Growers Market will feature a free Sesame Street jumping castle for kids at the market this coming Saturday. While you browse the great market stalls, the kids will have lots of fun on the free jumping castle. See you at the markets this Saturday from 9:00am and bring along family, friends, neighbours, work mates.... everyone!

December 18 – Det’s Fundraising Raffle and Auction
12 items for auction including: signed 2005 Parramatta Eels jersey, Summernats family pass, artwork, fire pit and baby hamper. Over 40 raffle prizes including: $600 worth of gift vouchers, Hisense wine fridge, signature spa package (3.5 hours) Tickets on sale at 5.30pm. Raffle drawn at 7.30pm. Auction at 9pm. Boorowa Ex-Services Club.

December 18 – Harden Emergency Services Santa Run
NSW SES, RFS, FRNSW and NSW Police are doing a Santa Run with all their trucks and cars around town, and then they’ll drop Santa off to the Hilltops Diesel Christmas Show at the Showground to hand out lollies and meet the kids. You can track the run through a Facebook live feed. 5pm-8pm.

December 18 – Young and Region Farmers’ Markets
Fresh local produce, jams and relishes and freshly made food and coffee. On Saturday morning from 9am at Anderson Park.

December 1 – Christmas Family Fun Day
Fireworks, amusement rides, showbags, Santa Claus, market stalls, Foodies night markets and emergency services display. $15 Family pass, $5 single entry. 5-9pm Harden Murrumburrah Showground.

December 18 – CanAssist Harden BBQ Raffle
The CanAssist Harden BBQ raffle is being drawn at the Harden Bowling Club at 9.30pm. Tickets will be on sale at the Bowling Club Christmas Party prior to it being drawn. Tickets will also be available at the family night at the Showground from 5pm to 9pm. BBQ is valued at $1,500. 1 for $2 or 3 for $5.

December 20 and 22 – Drop in Christmas craft at Boorowa Library
Drop into Boorowa branch for Christmas crafting. Suitable for all ages, however younger children may need some assistance. This activity is free, however numbers may be limited.
