42nd Annual Cherry Festival Competitive Art Exhibition Opens Next Week

2024’s opening night.
Young Society of Artists Inc members are busy preparing for 42 nd Annual Cherry Festival Competitive Art Exhibition.
Entries for the 4 day exhibition are now closed, with doors set to open on the official opening and award presentations at 7pm next Wednesday the 3rd of December.
Entry to the official opening is $10 and will include an evening of art, live mood music performed by Judy Barker, door prizes and refreshments.
Children are welcome with free entry.
Publicity Officer Heather Ruhl said, “In addition, the exhibition’s opening night has been included in the Southern Tablelands Arts “Arty Parties”.”
“Southern Tablelands Arts have curated seven parties with seven partner organisations from across the STA Region.”
“Light refreshments will be served in the Town Hall Foyer.”
“The following 4 days exhibition, gold coin entry will be appreciated,” said Heather.
The exhibition opening hours are 9am to 4.30pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and from 9am to 2pm on Sunday.
Another exhibition on the Young Society of Artists program is Open House Exhibition in Studio One at Southern Cross Cinema.
“Join Hilltops Arts in celebrating 20 years of cinema and the arts. The venue is marking two decades of commitment to creative expression and community involvement, though its Open House and display of memorabilia,” said Heather.
Works by members of the Young Society of Artists will be on display in Studio One.
The Open House exhibition runs from Saturday, November 21st to Sunday, December 21st and can be visited during regular cinema hours.
