Applications closing for Financial Assistance and Sponsorship Programs

Applications are closing for Hilltops Council’s Financial Assistance and Sponsorship Programs on Monday the 31st of August.

The programs are for community organizations, sporting groups, not-for-profit groups and individuals for the period from the 1st of July 2020 to the 30th of June, 2021.

There are two funds in the Financial Assistance Program. Fund 1 is the Small Scale Infrastructure Fund and is designed to assist organizations with providing infrastructure to their community or sporting group. From this fund, Hilltops Council will fund a maximum of up to 50% of the cost of the infrastructure, up to a maximum of $5000.

Fund 2 is the General Fund for Community Financial Assistance and is designed to assist community groups and organisations undertake special events or programs. From this fund, Hilltops Council will fund a maximum of up to 50% of the event or program.

In the Sponsorship Program, Hilltops Council will consider sponsorships for not-for-profit groups, organisations or individuals who are looking to organize an event or activity within the Hilltops Local Government Area that has demonstrable benefit to the community.

All applications and supporting information must be submitted to Hilltops Council on the prescribed forms, which are available on the Council’s website at www.hilltops.nsw.gov.au and at the Council offices by 12 noon on Monday the 31st of August, 2020.
