The Boorowa Hospital Auxiliary has four new purchases planned for the Hospital.

At the request of Boorowa Hospital Facility Manager Cecelia Walsh, the Auxiliary will be purchasing Mobile Air Chairs and two Lift Swings for the patients.

The air chairs have an adjustable foam matrix, are side transfer compatible and come with reclining and tilt facilities. The handy lift swings are a stress-free way to transfer patients from one place to another.

To help facilitate these purchases, the Auxiliary is holding a Melbourne Cup Lunch on Tuesday, the 5th of November. The lunch will start at 11.30am for 12pm at the Boorowa Ex- Services Club and is $25 a head.

Ticket includes a complimentary drink on arrival and a very tasty lunch will be served. Sweeps, lucky door prize, raffle and Fashions on the Field will all be held.

Single tickets or table bookings can be made at Carmody’s Newsagency on 6385 3074 or at the Boorowa Ex Services Club on 6385 3338 by Friday, the 1st of November.

All money raised on the day will go towards the purchase of this state of the art equipment.
