Big Success For Boorowa Show

Despite the continuing drought conditions across the region, the Boorowa Show Society held a successful Show over March 1st and 2nd.

Gate numbers were only down about 50 people on last year. The Championship Dog Show was well attended on Friday.

Saturday was action packed with Yard Dogs, Horses, Shearing, Cattle, Sheep, Alpacas and the Pavilion all on show with particularly good numbers of horses, alpacas and poultry.

The standard of entries was high with results as follows:

Most Outstanding exhibit in Knitting & Crochet – Jenny Reid
Best item in Needlework – Diane Sykes
Poultry – Best Bird in Show and the Burton Taylor trophy and $1000 prize – Kim George, Crookwell
