The strength of a nation can be measured by the harmony of its communities, and there is no denying that Boorowa is a great community. Boorowa’s economy was founded on agriculture and, as we know, it is renowned for the fine merino wool produced here.

Local Business Chamber member, Lyn Diskon said that while agriculture remained our strength, the local economy was diverse, led by a strong band of entrepreneurs.

“We are a community of small businesses and family enterprises, a dynamic, fast-growing, and exciting sector that allows people with an entrepreneurial spirit to pursue their dreams,” Ms Diskon said.

“Holding a Business Excellence Award recognises business owners who put it all on the line, not knowing what the next day will bring.”

“They are a way of thanking business operators for their dedication and significant contribution to Boorowa’s economy and our future prosperity.”

“An Awards program shines light on those who think outside the box to ensure the survival of their businesses, and stability in the greater community that helps to ensure Boorowa is the best place to start, grow and transform a small business and family enterprise.”

Business Excellence Awards celebrate the vital and deeply personal commitment made by the small and family businesses to the community.

For the business operator, Business Awards can make a huge difference to their business, giving them the kind of recognition that not only helps them to stand out from their competitors, but also opens doors to new customers and partners.

There are many benefits that come with winning business awards, from boosting staff morale to helping their business stand out from the competition.

All of which come with very few downsides.

Awards don’t grow on trees and getting one can be an extremely rewarding experience, both for the business and for the employees as well.

Visit the Boorowa Business Chamber’s Facebook page and wait to be advised of the new, close to be launched, website to enter online. You can also email lyn.diskon@gmail.com for a paper copy of the entry form.
