Members of the Auxiliary visited Boorowa MPS to renovate and replant garden beds to be enjoyed by MPS residents.

“Thank you to Boorowa Men’s Shed for building outside recreational tables specifically designed to cater for MPS residents needs for Boorowa MPS,” said Deb.

The Auxiliary was also awarded a certificate from head office for their fundraising efforts in 2024/2025.

The first meeting for the Auxiliary in 2026 will be on February 12th at 2pm at the Boorowa Library. New members are welcome to attend.

The Auxiliary is funding two of the three days of the Australian Skin Cancer Foundation Skin Check truck, with the Boorowa Local Health Advisory Committee funding the third day. The total cost of the visit to provide free whole body skin checks for the community is $17,997.

“The dates the truck will visit Boorowa are 16th, 17th and 18th April. Further information will follow as it becomes available, including how people can book to have their skin check,” said Deb.
