Boorowa Hospital Auxiliary To Host Melbourne Cup Fundraiser

Boorowa United Hospital Auxiliary is hosting a Melbourne Cup fundraising event on Tuesday, the 4th of November.

The event is to raise funds to bring the Australian Skin Cancer Foundation’s Skin Check Truck to Boorowa next year, to provide free skin checks.

Boorowa United Hospital Auxiliary is bringing the truck to Boorowa in conjunction with the Boorowa Local Health Advisory Committee (LHAC) and will fund 2 of the 3 days of skin checks.

To raise money to cover the funds, the Auxiliary is hosting a Melbourne Cup event at the Boorowa Ex-Services and Citizens Club.

Tickets are $60 per person and include champagne/orange juice and cold canape on arrival, a buffet lunch and entertainment.
