Harden Hospital Auxiliary Community Morning Tea
Thursday 2nd October at 10.30am at 98 Albury Street, Harden. Guest speaker is Gail Flannery, celebrant and friend of Galong Cemetery. $10 per person, all welcome. Following morning tea, members will gather for the monthly meeting.
BreastScreen NSW Van is coming to Young
From Monday the 15 of September to Friday the 31st of October 2025 at Young and Hilltops Region Information Centre on Lovell Street, Young. To book a free mammogram visit www.book.breastscreen.nsw.gov.au or call 13 20 50. An appointment with BreastScreen NSW is free, takes less than 20 minutes and no doctor’s referral is needed. The mobile clinic visiting Boorowa is equipped with a lift system to support women with health conditions or disability to have their mammogram. Women with additional needs are encouraged to let us know when booking their appointment.
Koorawatha Co-Op Spring Market Day
Children’s free scavenger hunt with prizes, garden furniture and pots, plants, preserves, crystals, home-made goodies, sustainable living, craft stalls including hand-dyed yarn, fleece, patchwork fabrics and more, pre-loved treasures, home grown veggies, dog treats and pet supplies, Cowra Antique Vehicle Club and much more. 9am until 1.30pm at the Koorawatha Showground on Sunday the 21st of September.

Boorowa Country Education Foundation Grant Applications Open
Applications for CEF grants are now open and can be lodged at www.cef.org.au Young people between the ages of 16 and 25 who are going to embark on tertiary education and training can apply. Carers Op Shop Hop

There’s still time to get out your pens, sharpen your pencils and get writing for the 43rd Lambing Flat Young FAW NSW Cherry Festival Writing Competition. Writers and poets of all ages are encouraged to have a go. Free entry for school students from Year 1 through to Year 12. Entry fees apply for Open (Adult) poetry and short story.
