Cherry Festival Celebrates 75 Years

The Multicultural Cherry Fiesta will be held on Friday the 5th of December from 5pm.
The National Cherry Festival is celebrating its 75th year with a brand new exciting celebration.
Along with all the traditional favourites, this year’s Cherry Festival will include the Multicultural Cherry Fiesta.
From 5pm on Friday the 5th of December, Boorowa Street in Young will come alive with live cultural performances, roaming entertainers and an enticing array of multicultural food stalls.
Special guest, celebrity chef Adam Liaw will take to the stage to cook a series of cherry-inspired dishes.
Aussie artist BIRDEE王煒 will hit the stage at Anderson Park at 8pm, before local band The Kirks finish off the night until 10pm.
Saturday the 6th and Sunday the 7th will feature all your Cherry Festival favourites, including the Cherry Pie Eating Contest, cherry pip spitting, and market stalls, to the much-loved Street Parade, live music, kids’ activities, and pick-your-own cherries at local orchards.
