Kids and adults alike are able to colour in Boorowa’s main street at home with a colouring in template from former Boorowa resident Sophie Corks.

Sophie has drawn colouring in templates of the main streets of Boorowa and Canowindra, which are available for free to print and colour in at home. “I drew the templates, one of Canowindra and one of Boorowa, to provide some mindful activity for people staying at home during this time,” said Sophie. “I grew up in Boorowa and remember the Carmody Newsagents well, it is an incredible building so I drew it as it was in its prime.”

Sophie painted the original illustrations of both main streets and auctioned them off on social media to raise money for charity. The Boorowa main street illustration went for $370 and the Canowindra main street illustration went for $275, raising $645 for charity. “100% of the proceeds of both paintings went to Wayside Chapel - a charity in Kings Cross who look after people on the streets,” said Sophie.

To receive the templates, simply follow Sophie on Facebook at or Instagram at and send her a direct message and she’ll send the template through to print and colour in at home. Sophie has also recently launched her website, where her works are available for purchase. Visit for more details.
