Colour In The Winter Garden Workshop

A free ‘Colour In The Winter Garden’ workshop is being held at the Rotary Community Garden next Wednesday.

Rotarian Rita O’Connor encouraged everyone to head along for the workshop.

“Everyone is welcome. We have Olwen Smith as our guest speaker, very knowledgeable and practical about gardens.”

“We will supply pots, soil, fertiliser and seedlings so that everyone who comes to the workshop will take away something with them.”

“Olwen will give us information about winter gardens and will also go into how to make good compost.”

The workshop will commence at 11am on Wednesday the 28th of May at the Community Garden.

Rita is also requesting help watering the Community Garden due to the lack of rainfall.

“We have replanted the community garden and request help from the community with watering the beds until we get some decent rain.”
