Community Bank Boorowa will temporarily close its doors from 12:00pm Friday 1 August until Monday 25 August 2025, as the branch undergoes essential renovations aimed at future-proofing its services.
Chair of Community Bank Boorowa, Belinda Reid, said the works mark a significant milestone in the branch’s long-standing commitment to the region.
“We first opened our doors on 12 May 2001, and to ensure we can continue to serve the community for many more years, these much-needed upgrades are a vital investment in our community’s future.”
Branch Manager Darren acknowledged that the temporary closure may cause some disruption but said every effort is being made to ensure a smooth transition.
“We understand this closure may cause some inconvenience, and we are working closely with local businesses and our wider Community Bank network to minimise disruption during this time.”
During the closure, customers can still access banking services through a range of options:
- A pop-up shop and service desk will be available to assist with non-cash transactions (details to come).
- Cash services, including deposits and withdrawals, will be available at the Boorowa Post Office (card required).
- ATM services will remain accessible at the Boorowa Ex-Services Club.
- Customers can continue to use e-banking and the Bendigo Bank app for 24/7 access.
- Full banking services will also be available at Community Bank Harden Murrumburrah, who will be working closely with the Boorowa team during the closure.
The bank’s final day of trading before the refurbishment will be Friday 1 August, closing at midday.
