One Harden woman has decided to do something about meeting some of the new locals and forming connections.

It is something that Eliza Wells has done before in other places she has lived.

“I like walking and I’ve met a few lovely new locals while out walking lately,” Eliza said.

“They weren’t finding it easy to meet people.”

Eliza’s idea is to host an informal morning tea at the end of each season, the first to be held on Sunday, November 27 to farewell spring.

“There will be just four per year,” she said.

“To make it easy I just decided to hold it on the final Sunday of the season.

“I already have eight to ten people interested.”

Eliza is offering a friendly chat over a nice cup of tea or coffee and a few bikkies at her home/studio on the corner of Albury and Lucan Streets.

You can let Eliza know via her Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/eliza.muldoon if you would like to attend, just so she knows how many cuppas to make, or you can just drop in.
