Construction Begins On New Units At Carinya Court

The cement slab has been laid on the two new units being built at Carinya Court.

Manager Trish Riles said the two new units are a welcome addition to the 14 units already at Carinya Court.

“We have a waiting list for affordable housing for elderly and disadvantaged residents.”

“These two units were well supported with fundraising from the local community and Bendigo Bank who have all been very generous with finances.”

“We hope to have the units finished before winter and three new residents living in them,” said Trish.

The not-for-profit organisation has been providing low-cost accommodation to the aged and disadvantaged of Boorowa for the past 40 years.
