On Thursday 30th June, Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network’s “Conversations on the Couch” was held at Pepper’s Café in Boorowa.
Conversations on the Couch is a great opportunity for residents to talk to representatives from Murrumbidgee Health about the good, bad and ugly aspects of health care in their area, with the aim of making improvements.
Four Boorowa residents participated in this conversation and discussed issues including patient transport, communication with medical practices, aged care, the Boorowa Hospital, Breast Screen NSW, the Rotary Men’s Health Education Rural Van (MHERV), and mental health.
If you were unable to make the meeting, but would still like to input into health care in Boorowa, you can do so by completing Murrumbidgee Health’s Feedback Survey, which is available online at: https://mphn.org.au/hna-community-feedback-survey
