Ex-Services Bowlers Win In Both Grades

Last Sunday, the Ex-Services number 5s team played Coota Ex-Services at Boorowa.

Overall, the Number 5s won 71 shots to 55.

Boorowa won on one rink and lost narrowly on two.

There was a dominant display by Chris Grimson’s team with a margin of just 25 shots to ensure the win.

The number 7s made the long journey to take on Cross Creek rivals the Rec Club and ground out a very narrow win.

Scores were level at 58 shots each after the match. Boorowa Ex-Services won by winning on two rinks to one.

The Club minor pairs were finalised on Saturday with Dav Bromham and Greg Thurtell defeating Bill Luxford and John Bromham 26 to 8.
