Fourth Year Of Rotary Club Of Murrumburrah Harden’s Book Program

The Rotary Club of Murrumburrah Harden spent the last weeks of November distributing books to five schools as part of the final book distribtion for 2025.

The books were distributed as part of the Club’s Book Program.

The Book Program is in its fourth year and has grown into a very successful program after beginning as a trial.

Rotarian Rita O’Connor said, “What began as a trial has grown into a significant initiative for Rotary and an excellent partnership with Community Bank Harden-Murrumburrah.”

“We now give books to five schools: Bunyip Daycare/Preschool, Jugiong Public School, Trinity Primary School, as well as Murrumburrah High and Primary Schools.”

“This program is made possible by the generous grant from Community Bank Harden-Murrumburrah.”

“It’s heartening to see how grateful the children are and how much they look forward to their book days.”
