Goonigal Poll Dorsets annual sale

The Lawrence family from Goonigal Poll Dorset Stock will have 100 high quality rams with top genetics producing early maturing sucker lambs as well as export lambs for sale at 1pm on September 10, 2021 at the Showground.

Bloodlines are Hillden and Abelene Park.

The sheep are OJD vaccinated, Brucellosis accredited free and footrot free. “We have had very good feedback from our clients who are regularly topping the local markets and over the hook sales, and have been very happy with the rams that we are producing,” said Maureen Lawrence.

The Lawrence family has been in operation at Goonigal since 2006.

“We bought the majority of the stud from the Nash family and we have gone on with it from there. The Nash family were breeding poll dorsets for over 40 years. We as a family have now been 15 years in this business Goonigal Poll Dorsets,” Mrs Lawrence said.

Rams will be penned by 11.30am for buyers to inspect.
