Old Time Dance

The 6th annual Old Time Dance will be a great evening of family entertainment at the Murrumburrah High School Hall on Saturday, 13th April at 7.30 pm.

This would be a great way to kick-start the school holidays. Music will be by well-known musician Phil Redenbach from Parkes who plays keyboard, guitar and sings, providing a lively and solid backing for the various dance routines.

Are you a bit rusty? When did you last dance the Pride of Erin, Canadian Three Step or a Barn Dance? Don’t worry – there will be plenty of folk to help get you going on the dance floor.

The Family Old Time Dances are organised by the Combined Churches Youth Ministry Group in Harden as a fundraiser to support scripture in schools and other Christian youth activities. Why not introduce your children to some old-fashioned dancing that’s stood the test of time, as well as being good exercise!

Tickets are now available from Lorraine Brown’s Gift Shop in Harden. $20 adults, $10 school-age children and $50 for a family. Book individually, as a group or a table of 8. Ticket price includes a substantial supper but you may want to bring along some non-alcoholic drinks and nibbles to keep the energy levels up! For further enquiries, contact Stewart Bruce on 0423 090 912.
