Harden And District Picnic Race Club Hosts 40th Annual Race Meeting

Fancy a little flutter on the ponies? Harden and District Picnic Race Club has the perfect opportunity for you, with its 40th Annual Race Meeting set for Saturday, October 28.

Gates will open at 11:30 am, with a bus running to and from the track. Just make sure you are track-side when races begin at 1 pm.

TAB, Sky Channel and bookmakers will be available for the punters as well as EFTPOS and ATM facilities.

Belly up to the bar for a pint of your favourite brew and grab something to eat from one of the food stalls.

It wouldn’t be a race meeting without Fashions On The Field and the major sponsor for this year’s event is Bendigo Bank, offering a very nice $2500 to be won.

Fashions on the Field will commence at 3:15 pm.

• Lady of the Day will take home $850 and some lovely flowers;
• Best Dressed Gent will leave with $500 and a case of beer;
• Best Dressed Couple will earn $500 and some beautiful flowers;
• Best Dressed Junior Male will win $100 and some chocolates; and
• Best Dressed Junior Female will receive $100 and some lovely flowers.

The Harden and District Race Club Committee will nominate some fashionable contenders, but anyone who wants to try their luck can self-nominate.

DJ Liv will be there with live entertainment from 4 pm.

All VIP Party tickets must be purchased via Eventbrite for the cost of $50, it includes general admission.

A general admission ticket will set you back $25 per person and can be purchased via Eventbrite or at the gate on the day.
