Kennedy Takes Win in 3 Way Thriller
A hardy crew have been connecting in the weeks after our season’s major event, the Australian 2 Man Ambrose Championships, this week vying for a Club Trophy in the Stableford format. With the course still playing tough from a good winter season and the greens in great condition, scoring has not been particularly easy of late.

Three men ended up bringing home the winning score of 37 points, each having their chances to break the deadlock somewhere in their rounds (judging by the stories told afterwards). Yarns about missed birdies and even a missed 8 foot eagle putt by the 3rd placegetter, were told but Mr Steady came away with the win.

The 3 players became 2 after Craig Filmer was eliminated on a back 9 countback, doing all of his good work on the front 9. This left Nathan Schofield and Tam Kennedy who could not be separated on a back 9 countback, nor on a last 6 countback.

Eventual Winner, Tam Kennedy claimed the lollies with a final 3 hole countback edging out Nathan by a mere 1 point. Well done to Tam and the closeness of the field on the day. Ball winners were Nathan Schofield (37), Craig Filmer (37) and Bob Stevenson (36).

This Week
Our Monthly Medal for October can now be played this Saturday and will be held in both Mens and Ladies Divisions. Our sponsor for the weekend will be Fullers Transport and we will see a Stroke event played.
