Competition Golf Resumes This Saturday

This Saturday, 23rd May 2020, will see competition golf resume at Harden Country Club. It will be under playing conditions recommended by NSW & Australian Golf and as adopted by the Board of Management of Harden Country Club.

Saturday will see a Club Medley Individual Stableford played with bookings for times available from the Club by phoning 6386 2483 during business hours. You must book a time as roll-ups to play are not welcome as they will promote gatherings beyond the NSW Covid-19 Public Health Order. The conditions of play will be broadcast to members via the Talkbox text and email app but are summarised below for ease of reference.

Timesheet times available: 8.30am to 1.00pm

Handicaps available: with marshall or on BBQ noticeboard

Payment: to marshall before start maintaining social distancing (EFT preferred)

Marking of card: mark own card – agreement with assigned co-marker before handing in

Group sizes: groups of 4 permitted – social distancing must be practised whole time on course

Cart restrictions: 1 person and 1 set of sticks per cart

Bunker conditions: bunkers in play – smooth with feet after shot, preferred lie permitted if land in unattended bunker markings by agreement marker

Flag conditions: pool noodles in hole – no touch flag – retrieve ball with gloved hand

Gimme’s/Holing Out: no Gimme’s – ball must be holed out to score points

Card return: after play return card to marshall – Club staff/match officials to do results and post online

Results/winnings: wins will be credited to Club Membership Card, balls to a tally list for collection when Club re-opens

Visitors: GolfLink eligible members may play subject to same rules above and enter comp

Breach of conditions: if any playing conditions are reported and found accurate DQ from comp and referral to Board

Harden Country Club, whilst excited to return, wishes to do so in a responsible and compliant way. Every faith that the members will do so is extended by the resumption in organised golf.
