Filmer Claims Monthly Medal
Out of the doldrums (and the weeds), Craig Filmer has snuck in to regain enough form to claim the Club A medal and the event on Saturday, proudly brought to us by the very generous Ron Fuller of Fuller’s Transport Services. This ends a persistent 6 months where too much effort has not met with any results for Craig.

Craig has even reversed last week’s effort of spending all his energy on the front 9, instead coming home strong to record an 81/13 = 68 nett. This has edged out a fantastic round by John Hawkins who was patrolling the scorers desk with his A Scratch winning 78 off the stick for a 69 nett, 1 shot back of our winner. Hawk Eye was sure he had nailed it but was gracious at least when the winners score hit the screen.

In B Grade, the very sneaky Ron Page got about his business in an efficient and business like manner, surprising everyone when the scores were collated recording a handsome round of 85/16 = 69 nett. Ron scooped the B Grade Pool winning both the B medal and the B Scratch with his efforts. Won’t be long and Pagey will be joining the A Graders...... Ronny edged out David Solah who continues to improve every week.

The A Medal and the B Medal were rewarded with generous Club Credits by Fullers Transport. Balls on the day went back to 72 nett and were awarded to John Hawkins 69, David James 70, Nathan Schofield 71, Craig Henman 72, and Tam Kennedy 72.

This Week
On Saturday we will be playing a mixed medley Individual Stableford. We look forward to seeing a mixed field on course and trust the forecast rain will sneak around us at the Harden Country Club the way it generally does.

Do not forget to book your tee time as we are still under COVID protocols.

See you out for a whack.
