3 wise men battle the conditions

Saturday 2nd of July saw a wet and windy day set for Royal Harden. With the moisture prevailing a decision was made to push the weekends monthly medal back a week as the course looked more like the mighty Murrumbidgee.

The three wise men of Filmer, Hoppe and Kennedy headed out onto the course to try and battle the conditions. After returning that afternoon comments were made in the similarity between them and popsicles.

One thing we cannot deny is their commitment to the game and we hope they have thawed out before this weekend to play in the pushed back medal. With the monthly medal pushed back the 4 competitors left in the Dempster cup also made a call to have the week off.

Good luck to Simon Glover, Janette Elliot, Peter Elliot and Herb Manwaring for their upcoming games. Herb is always the contender for Dempster and proves the old saying, Drive for show, Putt for dough!

Don’t forget that registrations are open for the Australian 2 man Ambrose. First in first served and always a great 2 days out especially with the course looking the way it is.

We look forward to seeing as many players on the course this weekend! Keep them straight. The Bogey Man
