On Saturday, 26th July, the Harden Hawks Rugby League Football Club hosted their annual Ladies Day and Charity Day, bringing the community together in support of a meaningful cause.
The event successfully raised $2,500 through the auction of team jumpers, generous donations, and raffle sales. All proceeds will go directly to Harden Can Assist, a local organisation that provides financial assistance to families undergoing cancer treatment.
While the ladies enjoyed a well-deserved social day, dedicated members of Can Assist volunteered in the canteen to help ensure the event ran smoothly.
Can Assist has expressed sincere gratitude to the Harden Hawks for their continued support and to everyone involved in making the donation possible.
The funds raised will make a significant difference to local families as they face the challenges of cancer treatment.
