Harden Kite Festival Theme Announced

Harden Kite Festival

This year’s Harden Kite Festival has commenced in the planning stages and the Festival is already shaping up to be the best year yet.

With the date being locked in for the 9th of October, 2021, to be held from 10:00am - 4:00pm at the Harden Picnic Racecourse, Burley Griffin Way, Harden, the theme for this year’s festival is ‘KITES - KIDS - COMMUNITY’

The entrance fee is a donation of $2 per person and once inside the gates, the Festival will have free activities for the whole family, with kite flying, live music and entertainment, dedicated kids activities, food stalls, market stalls, kite decorating workshops and rides.

The event is organised by a group of local volunteers with the support of the community. For businesses throughout the Hilltops region wishing to support this wonderful event, the 2021 Festival sponsorship packages are now open.

There are many interesting Festival activities to involve your business or organisation through sponsorship. The event would not be delivered without the financial assistance of sponsors and many not only assist financially, they also actively participate with ground-level tasks.

If you would like to become involved, learn more, or get to know the committee, the next meeting for the Harden Kite Festival is the AGM which is being held on Tuesday the 16th of March 2021 at 7:00pm. Currently it has been tentatively booked at the HRDC Office.
