Hennessy College students have been super busy, the month kicked off with the annual running of the Melbourne Cup. Students in all year groups donned fancy dress and donated a gold coin for their efforts. Students also held a cake stall which was hugely popular, before settling into the hall for our fashion parade and the running of the cup. All monies raised is donated to the St Vincent De Paul.
Mid-month saw the completion of the HSC exams and our final farewell to year 12 at their Graduation Dinner. Both ladies and gentlemen looked fantastic and had a fabulous evening celebrating the culmination of their schooling. We wish our year 12 cohort all the very best as they embark on the next stage of their lives.
Last week 110 students headed to Cootamundra for the annual touch football carnival. Hennessy fielded 2 teams in each age division. The students played some fantastic footy with the Year 11 Mixed A, 9/10 Boys A and both 7/8 girls sides all progressing to the Grand Final in their respective division. Congratulations to Hennessy 7/8 Girls A whom took out the ‘winners’ title in their division.
