To celebrate Youth Week, Hilltops Council are holding a Youth Week event at Roberts Park in Murrumburrah.

The event will be held on Tuesday the 16th of April and youth 12 and over are encouraged to attend.

Danette and Trish from Yoga Tree Studio in Young will be running a class at 10.30am teaching relaxation skills. This may be particularly helpful to those studying the HSC in the future. The skills taught can be used throughout life to relax.

Also running a class will be the Hard Rock Gym, conducting a boxing for fitness class. Inflatable attractions on the day will include a giant obstacle course, a Jurassic adventure, a volleyball court and a mechanical bull.

Both Catholic Care Reconnect and NSW Family Referral Service will be on hand with information about their support services and community resources.

A canteen will also be available for drinks and snacks.

Entry is $5 which includes a sausage sizzle lunch. Tickets are available from Hilltops Council Offices in Young, Harden and Boorowa.

Youth Week is a NSW wide event with the aim of providing young people with an opportunity to express their views and ideas, act on issues that affect their lives and create and enjoy activities and events with similar aged people.
