The Harden Murrumburrah Regional Development Corporation’s (HRDC) Round 3 Stimulus Package is now open for applications.

After two previous rounds focusing on businesses, Round 3 of the stimulus package will focus on sporting, community and not-for-profit organisations.

Local sporting, community and not-for-profit organisations that have been impacted by the Federal Government’s restrictions during the coronavirus crisis can apply for up to $5,000 for new equipment to entice increased membership and activities when restrictions are lifted.

“It was important for HRDC to support our local businesses through this time of uncertainty in Round 1 and 2 of the Stimulus, but now we turn our attention to our local sporting clubs, community groups and non-for-profit organisations in Round 2,” said HRDC CEO Chris Ireland.

“These clubs and community organisations are the backbone of our region and its important to support them, a lot of sporting clubs have lost income from cancelled events, community groups have had to close their doors to weekly and monthly gatherings and Round 3 of the Stimulus package gives these groups an opportunity to purchase some new equipment or capital items to entice new membership or diversify their offering when restrictions are lifted.” Applications opened on Monday the 13th of April at 9am and will close on Friday the 17th of April at 3pm.

Applications can be submitted here: https://www.hrdc.org.au/round-3 For more information, visit https://www.hrdc.org.au/our-projects/ or call the Harden Murrumburrah Regional Development Corporation’s offices on 02 6386 5536.
