World Suicide Prevention Day
The Wellways team at Young invite you to a community BBQ and some meaningful self-care activities in honor of World Suicide Prevention Day. This special gathering will take place on Wednesday, September 10th, from 12pm to 3pm at the Wellways office in Young, located at 2B Campbell Street.

Lions Club of Young Cuppa In A Mug Fundraiser
The Lions Club of Young warmly invites you to join them for a special afternoon tea to raise funds and awareness for the Australian Lions Childhood Cancer Research Foundation. Tony Kennedy, a trustee of the Foundation, will be giving a presentation so come along for a cuppa, some sweet treats and great company, all in support of a vital cause. Applications for CEF grants are now open and can be lodged at www.cef.org.au Young people between the ages of 16 and 25 who are going to embark on tertiary education and training can apply. Cherry Blossom Garden Club Meeting

There’s still time to get out your pens, sharpen your pencils and get writing for the 43rd Lambing Flat Young FAW NSW Cherry Festival Writing Competition. Writers and poets of all ages are encouraged to have a go. Free entry for school students from Year 1 through to Year 12. Entry fees apply for Open (Adult) poetry and short story.
