Despite the cancellation of the Lambing Flat Chinese Festival, the Lambing Flat Sculpture Wood and Big Art Exhibition will be going ahead this week.
The official opening will be held on Wednesday the 18th of March at 7pm. Entry will cover some light refreshments, door prizes and access to the display of exhibits.
The exhibition is being presented by the Young Society of Artists Inc, with a display of over 110 entries across all art mediums. The exhibition is focused on colour and the use of recycled and natural products.
Entries in the 2020 exhibition have come from local and visiting artists, with entries from Temora, Cowra, Woodstock, Forbes, Grenfell, Harden and Young.
The exhibition will take place in the Young Town Hall over the following four days, opening at 9am.
The Young Society of Artists members are inviting locals and visitors to support the event, with the understanding that the venue has the ability to provide good social distancing measures. The Young Town Hall is a big, open room, allowing visitors viewing the exhibition to practice social distancing from other viewers.
