Lions 201N4 59th District Changeover Dinner held in Young

The Lions Club of Young hosted the 201N4 59th District Changeover Dinner on Saturday the 1st of August.

There were 47 in attendance, including Lions and guests from Young and the N4 District. The dinner was held at the Young Services Club with the inductions taking place after the meal.

Lions Club member Stuart Freudenstein was inducted as District Governor for 2020-2021. Immediate Past District Governor for 2019-2020 from Forbes, Peter Bright, inducted Stuart. While adhering to strict COVID 19 restrictions, Cabinet members were inducted to their various positions for the next twelve months on the District Council.

Steph Cooke MP, Member for Cootamundra, who is a member of the NSW Parliamentary Lions Club, proposed the toast to Lions International. Steph also congratulated Stuart and his Cabinet and wished them well for the next twelve months.

District Governor Stuart and his wife, Lyn, will be traveling to many towns across the district, attending a variety of Lions Club activities, appreciating the many and varied ways that Lions serve the communities and humanity.
