The Lions Club of Young held their monthly dinner meeting on the 9th of November. Members were welcomed by President Geoff Freudenstein, who also welcomed the guest speaker for the night, Mr Craig Filmer.

Craig was accompanied by his wife, Toni and talked about how his journey of ending up in Young happened. He worked for various LGAs and came to Young in 2002. He branched out in 2016 to start his business, DA Busters, which now services many LGAs throughout a large part of rural NSW.

Craig was thanked for his presentation by President Geoff.

The second presentation of the night was the awarding of a 15 year Chevron award to Lion Claire Goodwin. Claire was presented with her award by District Governor Stuart Freudenstein in recognition of her service.
