The Harden Mother’s Day Street Party is back, with an afternoon of celebrations planned.

The event is organised by Harden Murrumburrah Regional Development Corporation (HRDC) and supported by the Bendigo Bank Harden.

Neill Street will be closed between 3.30pm and 6pm on Thursday the 8th of May for an afternoon of live music, delicious treats, artistic displays and the opportunity to pamper and celebrate the Mums of Hilltops.

Antonia Brown from HRDC said, “The street party is designed to honour mothers and create a joyful atmosphere for families and friends to come together.”

“We are really grateful for the help of Hilltops Council who have helped closing Neill St, this means we can all stroll freely, enjoy the festivities, and engage with local businesses without traffic concerns.”

“There will be something for everyone, you can look forward to local performers, The Hardrock Gym, Miss Ems Dance and Harden Dojo showcasing their talents, community stalls, and a chance to immerse in the warmth and spirit of Harden Murrumburrah.”

“There will be street performers with bubbles, stilt walkers and entertainers,” said Antonia.

Local businesses will be offering exclusive Mother’s Day specials to pamper Mum all along Neill Street.

Bunyip Preschool will be offering face painting at their stall, as well as rocky road chocolates and beautiful earrings for Mum.

Both Bunyip Preschool and Harden Junior Red Devils will be running a raffle.

Harden Bearings and Hardware will have the opportunity to create a hand painted coaster and Mother’s Day card in their Repco store.

Dinner and dessert is also sorted for the evening, with a variety of options including Murrumburrah Public School serving up nachos, the Boorowa Rotary stall serving up a BBQ and soft drinks, the High School running a bake stall and Trinity will be serving up their famous donuts.

The NSW RFS Demondrille Brigade will also be in attendance with their firetruck.

Head down to Neill Street from 3.30pm to celebrate and pamper Hilltops Mums and enjoy a wonderful afternoon in Harden.
