Carol Maciver with the Year 3 and 4 class.

Student numbers at Murringo Public School have increased as the school begins a busy year.

Three classes are running this year, due to the increased numbers. Eleven brand new students have started their school journey in Kindergarten, as well as lots of other new members of the school community.

Mrs Carol Maciver has joined the teaching staff part time and there are lots of volunteers to be found around the school, taking part in lots of activities.

Swimming lessons and carnivals have dominated the start of the school year, with some spectacular results in personal achievements and in races seen.

The favourite subject so far at the beginning of the year has been science, with all three classes taking time to explore their surroundings and conduct experiments to test scientific theories.

The staff and students at Murringo Public School are looking forward to a jam-packed year of learning and growing together as a school community.
