New Strategic Plan for Harden Regional Development Corporation

Mr Richard Fleming, the Chair of the HRDC Committee announces the launch of the recently completed 2018-2021 Strategic Plan.

“The Committee are delighted with this concise and yet comprehensive document which clearly articulates the direction our organisation will be taking over the next three years,” Mr Fleming said.

The core purpose of HRDC is “To promote and grow the economic development and social wellbeing of Harden Murrumburrah.”

“This new plan has clearly defined the key strategic activities over the next three years and will be keeping the community and other interested people updated as the plan gains traction,” Fleming noted.

Mr Fleming indicated that, “We are a member based local organisation that is seeking to increase the prosperity and wellbeing of the entire community.”

The key areas of focus are:

• Create opportunities for economic growth
• Increase innovation by implementing technology
• Increasing access to residential and industrial land
• Consolidate a caring and inclusive community
• Building collaboration, partnerships and brand awareness

Mr Fleming also noted that the new HRDC website has just been completed and is located at www.hrdc.org.au

“The website is a simple and effective on-line presence for our organisation and has the facility to subscribe to our regular newsletters which will commence in February,” said Mr Fleming.
