News From Boorowa LHAC

Boorowa Local Health Advisory Committee (LHAC) is giving thanks to members of the Boorowa Multi-Purpose Service for the work they do for the Boorowa community.

Boorowa LHAC Communications Officer Debbie Rheinberger said, “Nicole Summers MPS Facility Manager and Boorowa LHAC sincerely thank Clive and Cherylee for their service to the Boorowa MPS.”

“Thank you Cherylee, for 16 years of dedicated service to the Boorowa community.”

“Clive, a recent addition to the team, is celebrating his first anniversary. Thank you Clive and welcome to our community.”

Boorowa LHAC is also thanking the nursing staff of Boorowa MPS leading into International Nurses Day in May.

International Nurses Day is observed every year on May 12th, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth. The day is organized by the International Council of Nurses and serves to highlight the importance of nurses in the healthcare system, celebrating their dedication, hard work, and impact on patient health.

This day marks the contributions that nurses make to society, often under challenging circumstances, and highlights the need for continued support and appreciation for the nursing profession.
